Critics can keep quiet about JJ Redick, as his former teammate Matt Barnes tells TMZ Sports the new Lakers coach simply “doesn’t give a s***” about outside opinions.
Barnes, who played with Redick on the Clippers from 2013 to 2015, says Redick is deeply focused and knows his stuff. Now, as head coach of the Lakers, Redick’s every move is under scrutiny, but Barnes insists none of it bothers him.
“He doesn’t give a s*** about criticism,” Barnes says. “He’s played in the NBA long enough and been a star long enough to let it go in one ear and out the other.”
