KK Union Olimpija announced the signings of the Serbian guard Dusan Djordjevic (26, 193cm) and the Bosnian forward-center Edin Bavcic (25, 210cm) via their official website, today.
Djordjevic who is 26 years old and 193cm started his career in the youth departments of Belgrade Beovuk. He then moved to Russian (Lokomotiv Rostov-on-Don and Spartak St. Petersburg) in 2001. Hw then moved to Iraklis Thessaloniki of Greece until the end of 2004/05 season. He then returned to his homeland where he played for Vojvodina for three season before moving to Bosna Sarajevo last summer. He has also performed for Serbia Junior National Teams.
The 25-year old Bavcic who stands at 210cm started hi career in his native Bosna Sarajevo in 2003 where he stayed until the end of 2007/08 season until he moved to Antalya first and then to Koeln 99ers from last January and on. He is also a regular member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team.
