Kevin Durant delivered a stellar performance, scoring 32 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a thrilling 115-112 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. The win extended Phoenix’s winning streak to six games, improving their record to 7-1.

The Suns found themselves trailing 79-64 midway through the third quarter but mounted a fierce comeback, finishing the period on a 15-3 run to trim Miami’s lead to just three points. Durant’s clutch jumper with 16 seconds remaining in the game put the Suns up by four and secured the victory.

Devin Booker contributed 22 points and nine assists, helping Phoenix stay within striking distance. Jusuf Nurkic was a force in the paint, finishing with 20 points and 18 rebounds. Despite 16 turnovers, the Suns managed to capitalize on Miami’s defensive lapses to earn the hard-fought win.

For the Heat, Tyler Herro led the way with 28 points, including five 3-pointers, while Haywood Highsmith added 19 off the bench. Jimmy Butler struggled with his shooting, scoring just 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting. Bam Adebayo was also held in check, going 5-for-21 from the field for 12 points, although he grabbed 12 rebounds.

Phoenix’s defense tightened down the stretch, and Miami failed to score in the final seconds after Booker made one of two free throws, giving the Heat a last-ditch chance. Miami could not convert, allowing the Suns to hold on for the win.

The Suns’ 7-1 start ties the best in franchise history, matching previous seasons in 1980-81, 2000-01, and 2009-10.
