Paul George and Joel Embiid are set to miss yet another game for the Philadelphia 76ers, sitting out Saturday night’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.

This will be the latest absence for both stars, as neither has taken the court for the Sixers this season.

Their absence leaves a considerable gap in the team’s lineup, especially as Philadelphia continues to adjust without two of their most influential players.

George, who is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee, showed encouraging signs by fully participating in practice and a scrimmage on Friday.

Although still listed as out, his involvement in team activities suggests he’s inching closer to a return.

For the 76ers, having George back would provide a significant boost to both their offense and defense, but the team remains cautious in ensuring he’s completely ready.

Embiid also joined the team in practice and was able to complete a full 5-on-5 scrimmage alongside his teammates.

According to sources, this was the first time all season that Embiid, the team’s centerpiece and a dominant force on the court, has completed a full-contact scrimmage.

This marks a promising development in his recovery, and fans are hopeful he will soon make his long-awaited season debut.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will be playing without key players of their own, as both Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart are sidelined with injuries.

Currently listed as week-to-week, their absences are significant, with Bane’s scoring and Smart’s defensive skills both being central to the Grizzlies’ game plan.

The lack of these critical players could impact the Grizzlies’ performance, making Saturday’s game a test of depth and resilience for both teams.
