Nuggets sign 3 players to Exhibit 10 contracts

The Denver Nuggets have made notable additions to their roster by signing center Charles Bediako, along with guards Andrew Funk and Will Richardson, to Exhibit 10 contracts.

These agreements are part of the team’s strategy to solidify their training camp roster and ensure a pipeline of talent for the upcoming season.

Following the preseason, all three players are anticipated to join the Grand Rapids Gold, the Nuggets’ G League affiliate, where they will have the opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable playing time.

Charles Bediako, a 7-foot center, spent the previous season with the San Antonio Spurs on a two-way contract. However, his season was cut short when he suffered a torn meniscus in late December.

During his time in the G League with the Austin Spurs, Bediako participated in 17 games, where he made a solid impact by averaging 5.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

His experience will be invaluable as he aims to regain his form and contribute significantly in the G League this season.

Andrew Funk comes to the Nuggets after concluding last season on a two-way deal with the Chicago Bulls.

Before joining the Bulls, he had a stint with the Grand Rapids Gold, showcasing his ability as a versatile player.

In a total of 49 G League games, the 6-foot-5 guard demonstrated his scoring prowess, averaging 13.6 points per game while shooting an impressive 37.7% from beyond the arc on approximately 9.1 attempts per game.

Funk’s ability to stretch the floor and knock down three-pointers will be an asset to the team.

Will Richardson, who went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft after playing for the Oregon Ducks, brings additional talent to the Nuggets’ roster.

In his senior season, the 6-foot-5 guard made a significant contribution to his team, averaging 12.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game across 33 contests.

Richardson’s well-rounded skill set and experience at the collegiate level will serve him well as he transitions to the professional ranks.
