Kobe Bufkin: “I’m potentially an All-Star in the future”

Atlanta Hawks guard Kobe Bufkin feels like he’ll have more opportunities in year two with Dejounte Murray now on the New Orleans Pelicans.

Reporter: “When you get drafted as a rookie, they already have two players in the starting lineup who are both point guards, who have both made All-Star teams. One is gone now, does that change something for you in terms of opportunity?”

Bufkin: “I mean, yeah. It opens up some space. DJ’s an All-Star, Trae [Young]’s an All-Star, but I feel like as myself, I’m potentially an All-Star in the future. So just taking big steps, hopefully, this year.”
