New Orleans Pelicans sharpshooter Jordan Hawkins says that he can be himself more this season following having some nerves as a rookie adjusting to the life of an NBA player.
(via New Orleans Pelicans):
“Just going into training camp, everything just felt more comfortable. More into myself, not second guessing myself, because a lot of guys come into the league as rookies, don’t really know what to expect. So, I think I wasn’t having nerves. I wasn’t really nervous to play basketball. I was just having the nerves like, ‘What’s my life gon’ be like now? I’m on my own as an adult for the first time.’”
