The Memphis Grizzlies have entered into a multi-year partnership with Robinhood Markets, Inc., naming the financial services company their official investing and jersey patch partner. Starting with the 2024-25 season, the Robinhood logo will appear on the upper left chest of all Grizzlies uniforms.
Ted Roberts, Vice President of Partnership Marketing for the Grizzlies, emphasized the shared values between the organization and Robinhood. “We’re excited to announce Robinhood as our jersey entitlement partner,” Roberts said, highlighting the alignment between the two entities.
In addition to the jersey patch, Robinhood will have significant branding throughout the Grizzlies ecosystem. This includes the company’s logo displayed along both baselines of the Grizzlies’ home court, as well as visibility across broadcasts, social media, and in-arena promotions.
Robinhood’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Michael Goodbody, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. “Robinhood’s partnership with the Grizzlies is a strategic move,” Goodbody said, linking the Grizzlies’ “Grit and Grind” mentality with Robinhood’s mission to democratize finance. Goodbody also mentioned Robinhood’s growing footprint in the NBA as part of the company’s outreach strategy.
KLUTCH Sports Group played a key role in brokering the deal between Robinhood and the Grizzlies. Nicole Chaplin, Executive at KLUTCH Global Partnerships, praised the partnership, stating, “Both Robinhood and the Memphis Grizzlies shared a clear alignment of ideals.”
