The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed Jaedon LeDee to an Exhibit 10 deal, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto. LeDee’s new contract comes after a notable performance during the NBA Summer League with Minnesota.

LeDee, who played for San Diego State, was awarded the 2024 Karl Malone Award, recognizing him as the top power forward in the nation. His college career has been marked by significant achievements and impressive stats.

Following his freshman season at Ohio State, LeDee transferred to Texas Christian University (TCU), where he averaged 4.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Despite these numbers, his dissatisfaction with limited playtime led him to transfer once more, this time to San Diego State.

After a season of sitting out due to transfer rules, LeDee emerged as a crucial player for the Aztecs. In his first active season with San Diego State, he averaged 7.9 points and 5.3 rebounds, helping the team secure the Mountain West Conference titles and reach the NCAA Tournament Final Four.

LeDee’s final season was remarkable, as he led the Aztecs to victories over Saint Mary’s and Washington and was named MVP of the Continental Tire Main Event tournament. He averaged 21.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, despite the team falling to UConn in the Sweet 16.

During his last season, LeDee set several San Diego State records and led the Mountain West Conference in multiple categories, including points, field goals, and free throws. His exceptional performance earned him numerous national accolades and All-American honors.

Despite individual success in his final year in college, LeDee went undrafted this summer.
