The Chicago Bulls are reportedly focused on mending their relationship with star guard Zach LaVine as the 2024-25 NBA season approaches.

Despite exploring trade options for LaVine, the Bulls were unable to find a suitable partner for the two-time All-Star.

LaVine averaged 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists over 25 games last season but dealt with injuries.

Bulls executives Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley are now working to repair any tensions with LaVine to improve his marketability ahead of the trade deadline, according to Joe Cowley of Chicago Sun Times.

Coach Billy Donovan met with LaVine in Los Angeles over the summer, reportedly addressing some differences.

However, some within the Bulls’ organization remain concerned about LaVine’s ability to help the team win.

With $138 million still owed to LaVine over the next three seasons, the Bulls are hoping to present him as a game-changer to rebuild his value.

The team has struggled in recent seasons, finishing in the play-in tournament but failing to advance past the Miami Heat.

Karnisovas and Eversley will need to portray the Bulls as a competitive team, despite ongoing challenges in the roster.

LaVine’s future in Chicago remains uncertain, but for now, both sides seem committed to finding common ground.
