LeBron James has revealed the sport he believes he could win Olympic gold at, besides basketball.
Following his recent gold-medal win at the 2024 Paris Olympics with Team USA, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar was asked about other sports where he could excel.
James, known for his exceptional athleticism and longevity in the NBA, mentioned that he could potentially succeed in either the long jump or high jump.
The four-time NBA champion confidently stated that, with proper preparation, he could compete at the highest level in these events.
“If you give me some time—about six months, eight months, or whatever—I think I could do the long jump, maybe, or the high jump,” James said on The Shop, via Basketball Forever.
James has often been compared to other great athletes across different sports due to his physical attributes and competitive spirit.
The long jump and high jump require a unique combination of speed, power, and technique, all qualities that James has demonstrated throughout his basketball career.
James’ athletic prowess has been a topic of conversation since he entered the NBA as the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft.
