New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson recently shared his picks for the NBA’s top golfers.
When asked to name the league’s best on the golf course, Brunson confidently placed Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry at the top.
“Top three best golfers? I’m gonna say Steph [Curry], for sure,” Brunson stated, affirming Curry’s reputation as a standout golfer among NBA players.
Brunson then turned to his Knicks teammate Josh Hart for help in recalling other NBA golfers.
Hart began to suggest “Kyle, Zach…,” before Brunson suddenly remembered another name.
“Oh, oh Austin Reaves!” Brunson exclaimed, identifying the Los Angeles Lakers guard as one of the league’s best golfers.
While Brunson named Curry and Reaves as the top two, he chose not to name a third, playfully refusing to put himself in that spot.
“Nah, don’t put me third,” Brunson said, opting to remain out of the rankings.
Brunson’s recognition of Curry and Reaves highlights their reputation within the league not just as basketball stars but also as skilled golfers.
Curry’s love for golf is well-known, with the two-time MVP often participating in celebrity tournaments and charity events.
Reaves, although more recognized for his rising NBA career, clearly has also made a name for himself on the golf course.
