The Milwaukee Bucks have officially signed guard James Akinjo and forward Liam Robbins to their roster.
Akinjo, 6-1 guard, played 31 games last season with the Stockton Kings and Wisconsin Herd in the NBA G League, averaging 9.5 points, 4.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game.
During his time with the Herd, he appeared in 14 games, posting averages of 9.7 points, 3.9 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 21.3 minutes per game.
Akinjo, an All-American from Baylor, previously played 38 games with the Westchester Knicks in the 2022-23 G League season, where he averaged 14.7 points per game.
Robbins, a 7-0 forward, last played for Vanderbilt in the 2022-23 season, starting 26 games and earning SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors.
He averaged 15 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.2 blocks per game, shooting 50.4% from the field during his senior year.
Robbins also received First Team All-SEC honors and was a finalist for National Defensive Player of the Year.
Over his collegiate career, which included stints at Drake and Minnesota, Robbins amassed 302 blocks, averaging 2.4 per game along with 10.6 points and 5.5 rebounds.
After going undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft, Robbins spent time with the New Orleans Pelicans during the preseason before being waived.
