Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green picked the 2024 Team USA over the 1992 Dream Team.

USA Basketball has assembled a star-studded squad for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, sparking comparisons with the original Dream Team.

Green believes the current Team USA would win five out of seven games against the Dream Team.

“This 2024 team are definitely drawing those comparisons to the Dream Team and quite frankly I’m taking the 2024 team seven days a week,” Green said on The Draymond Green Show.

He acknowledged the greatness of the Dream Team but highlighted the versatility and star power of the 2024 roster.

“Gotta give the Dream Team some respect, they got GOATs, we get it, they got Hall of Famers, we get it,” he added.

Green emphasized the scoring ability and versatility of the 2024 team as key advantages. He noted that if Shaquille O’Neal had been on the Dream Team instead of Christian Laettner, the outcome might differ.

Green predicted a decisive win for the 2024 team, stating, “It’s, I wouldn’t say come close, a 10-point loss, double digits by the 2024 team USA, you can book it.”

The 2024 Team USA roster includes Stephen Curry, Anthony Edwards, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Derrick White, Tyrese Haliburton, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Jrue Holiday, Bam Adebayo, Anthony Davis, and Devin Booker.

In contrast, the historic 1992 Dream Team featured basketball legends such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Mullin, Clyde Drexler, and Christian Laettner.

After going 3-0 in the group stage in Paris, the Americans are set to face Brazil in the quarterfinals.
