The Chicago Bulls are resigned to start the new season with Zach LaVine on their roster.

The Bulls have been unable to trade LaVine due to his market value being below expectations.

As a result, Chicago must keep the two-time All-Star despite their desire to move him.

Marc Stein reported on Substack that the Bulls are preparing to start the season with LaVine.

They aim to help him rebuild trade value after months of unsuccessful trade attempts.

LaVine played just 25 games last season due to injuries, averaging 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 34.9 minutes per game.

He has three years left on his five-year, $215 million contract.

The Bulls hoped to find a new home for LaVine but faced difficulties due to his injury history and contract size.
