Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan, now an unrestricted free agent, is weighing his options for the upcoming season.

According to Barry Jackson, the Sacramento Kings have engaged in discussions with the Bulls regarding a potential sign-and-trade deal for DeRozan.

Additionally, DeRozan’s former team, the San Antonio Spurs have emerged as another viable destination.

Despite DeRozan’s interest in joining the Miami Heat, sources indicate that the Heat may not currently meet his contract expectations.

During the past season, the 34-year-old DeRozan averaged 24 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game while logging 37.8 minutes on average.

As negotiations continue, both the Kings and Spurs are actively pursuing opportunities to secure DeRozan’s services through a sign-and-trade deal.
