The Los Angeles Lakers have solidified their commitment to sophomore guard Max Christie with a lucrative multi-year contract.

According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Christie intends to sign a four-year, $32 million deal to remain with the Lakers, including a player option.

Last season, Christie showcased his potential in 67 games for the Lakers, averaging 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 14.1 minutes per game.

Christie, drafted 35th overall in the 2022 draft, has quickly become a valued part of the Lakers’ rotation.

Previously, the 21-year-old player was on a two-year, $2.7 million rookie contract with the Purple and Gold.
