According to sources from Ian Begley of SNY.tv, the New York Knicks are focused on securing OG Anunoby by re-signing him in free agency after acquiring Mikal Bridges through a trade. However, it appears increasingly improbable that the Knicks will be able to afford to retain Isaiah Hartenstein.

Due to their possession of Hartenstein’s Early Bird rights, the Knicks are limited to offering him a maximum contract of $72.5 million over four years. Hartenstein, however, may receive offers surpassing this amount in the open market.
