Dave Portnoy harshly criticized Angel Reese after her second WNBA loss to Caitlin Clark.
On Sunday, Reese and the Chicago Sky lost 91-83 to the Indiana Fever, with Clark scoring 23 points, and adding nine assists and eight rebounds. This followed their June 1 loss to Indiana, 71-70.
Reese had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds but was flagged for hitting Clark in the head. Her postgame comments accusing officials of favoritism didn’t help.
Jason Whitlock called Reese delusional, Skip Bayless said she was jealous of Clark, and Portnoy joined in the criticism.
‘Caitlin Clark takes the high road, and all Angel Reese does after the game is take shots at her,’ Portnoy said.
‘That’s a flagrant, so shut up, Angel Reese,’ he exclaimed. ‘You can’t have your cake. All she does is complain [and] whine. She has the main character syndrome. You aren’t Caitlin. You’re never gonna be Caitlin. So shut the f*** up. And own it.’
