Indiana Pacers point guard TJ McConnell praised the defensive effort of former teammate Oshae Brissett after Thursday’s 126-110 Eastern Conference Final Game 2 road loss vs. the Boston Celtics (3 steals).

“You gotta give credit where credit’s due, Oshae came in and really sat down and defended really well and just brought a different dynamic to their team… They were able to switch 1-5. He came in and really changed the game defensively for them. So obviously a friend of mine and happy for him, but it’s something that we’ve seen many times: teams go 1-5. We just have to be a lot better.”
