Despite his crucial role in the Boston Celtics’ success, Jaylen Brown’s absence from the All-NBA teams has served as motivation for the talented guard.

Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla highlighted Brown’s response, emphasizing his focus on winning above individual accolades.

Mazzulla praised Brown’s competitive spirit and dedication to the team’s success. While the All-NBA snub may have initially disappointed Brown, he has channeled that energy into his performance, elevating his game when it matters most.

“I think he [Jaylen Brown] cares about it in a way that motivates him… He understands that winning is the most important thing,” Mazzulla said.

Following the announcement of the All-NBA teams, Brown delivered a standout performance, scoring a game-high 40 points in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers. His determination to prove himself has been evident on the court.

Throughout the regular season, Brown averaged 23 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 33.5 minutes per game.
