Mike Budenholzer was officially introduced as the new head coach of the Phoenix Suns.

The Arizona native expressed his excitement about coaching the team. “I would coach this team if it was on the moon…in Alaska, in Denmark…I would go anywhere to coach this team,” Budenholzer said, per Gerald Bourguet.

With Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal on the roster, the Suns are aiming for a championship. However, Budenholzer downplayed championship talk.

“Talking about championships is kind of meaningless. Talk is cheap. It’s what you do every day that’s powerful,” he stated.

The Suns’ new head coach brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record. He previously led the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA championship in 2021.
