New York Knicks forward Isaiah Hartenstein expressed regret over his team’s lackluster performance in their resounding 121-89 defeat to the Indiana Pacers in Game 4, leveling the series at 2-2.
Hartenstein’s comments came in the aftermath of a disappointing outing for the Knicks, who failed to match the Pacers’ intensity and were outplayed in every aspect of the game.
In a postgame statement, Hartenstein acknowledged the team’s failure to deliver a competitive performance, particularly in front of their loyal fan base.
“The way we played, especially today, was not respectful to the fans and how they support us,” Hartenstein lamented, per Fred Katz.
Led by Tyrese Haliburton and T.J. McConnell, the Pacers controlled the game from start to finish, leaving the Knicks struggling to find answers on both ends of the court.
With the series now tied at 2-2, the Knicks face a crucial Game 5 showdown at Madison Square Garden, where they will look to regain momentum and secure a vital victory on home turf.
