The future of Klay Thompson is uncertain as he enters unrestricted free agency for the first time in his career.

It was reported that the Orlando Magic are seriously interested in signing the four-time NBA champion to add shooting and experience to the roster.

New report from NBA insider Shams Charania suggest that the interest is not one-sided. Thompson also has interest in moving to Orlando after 13 years with the Golden State Warriors.

“The Magic can open up an excess of sixty million dollars in cap space this off season…One name to keep an eye on, Klay Thompson, I’m told there is mutual interest between the Magic and Klay Thompson,” Charania said on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back.

The Warriors would like to keep Thompson, but are unlikely to offer him the type of contract that he wants.

This past season Thompson saw bench time for the first time since his rookie year. The 34-year-old shooting guard averaged 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 29.7 minutes per game.
