The Indiana Pacers eliminated the Milwaukee Bucks with a dominant 120-98 win in Game 6, securing their spot in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Bench players T.J. McConnell and Obi Toppin led the scoring for the Pacers with 20 and 21 points respectively. McConnell also had nine assists.
Pascal Siakam contributed 19 points, and seven rebounds, while Tyrese Haliburton had 17 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out 10 assists. Aaron Nesmith and Andrew Nembhard scored 15 and 14 points respectively.
Despite missing two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks fought hard to stay in the game, led by Damian Lillard’s 28 points. Bobby Portis Jr. and Brook Lopez contributed significantly with 20 points each.
This is the second year in a row when Milwaukee exits the playoffs in the first round. Last season the No. 1 seed Bucks were eliminated by the Miami Heat.
Meanwhile, the Pacers prepare to face the New York Knicks in the conference semifinals.
