Here’s Orlando Magic power forward Paolo Banchero on the impactful play of Wendell Carter Jr. as a starter over these last two playoff games (averaging 6.5 PPG/5.0 RPG/50.0% FG/50.0% 3-PT in back-to-back wins vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers).

Reporter: “How do you describe Wendell’s box out style of rebounding? What makes him an effective rebounder and presence on the boards?”

Banchero: “I think just his overall size and how well he’s able to function and move at his size playing center. You don’t see many guys with that size, height, and weight, and being able to be light on their feet at the same time. So he’s been huge for us, obviously getting back in the starting lineup. I think that’ll also help us a lot in this next game on the road having him in the starting lineup, the first two he wasn’t. So I think that’ll help us a lot, but his presence there is big.”
