Former NBA coach Stan Van Gundy has bestowed high praise upon Dallas Mavericks’ phenom Luka Doncic, hailing him as the best offensive talent he’s ever witnessed.

Speaking on the Dan Le Batard Show, Van Gundy emphasized Doncic’s unparalleled offensive skill set, asserting that the Slovenian sensation stands alone as the greatest offensive force in basketball history.

“I think the best offensive player now that I’ve ever seen is Luka Doncic…as strictly an offensive player, I think he’s the best I’ve ever seen,” Van Gundy said.

Van Gundy’s assertion adds weight to the ongoing discourse surrounding Doncic’s impact on the game and his place among the NBA’s all-time greats.

In his sixth year in the NBA, Doncic is averaging 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 9.8 assists in 37.5 minutes per game.
