He believes that securing this position would provide the team with a significant advantage as they enter the playoffs. However, regardless of their final standing in the regular season, Finch anticipates a challenging postseason ahead.
Acknowledging the competitiveness of the playoffs, he emphasized the importance of any advantage they can gain, considering it could be one of the toughest playoff seasons ever.
“It might be the hardest playoffs ever,” Finch said. “So any advantage you can get is going to be a big one.”
