The Atlanta Hawks received encouraging news regarding their star player Trae Young.

After undergoing surgery for a torn ligament in his left fifth finger on February 27, Young has now been given the green light for team practice and contact following his six-week follow-up evaluation.

Young’s return to team activities marks a significant step forward in his recovery process, boosting the Hawks’ hopes for the remainder of the season.

Throughout the season, Young has been a pivotal player for the Hawks, averaging 26.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 10.8 assists per game in his 36.5 minutes on the court.

As the regular season winds down, the Hawks currently sit in the 10th position in the Eastern Conference standings.

Having already secured a spot in the Play-In Tournament, Young’s potential return to action provides a timely boost for the Hawks as they prepare for the postseason.

Having secured a spot in the play-in tournament, Atlanta is gearing up for a crucial play-in matchup against the Chicago Bulls.

Young is listed as out for tomorrow’s game against the Miami Heat, along with Saddiq Bey (left knee torn ACL), AJ Griffin (right ankle sprain), Seth Lundy (left ankle soreness), and Onyeka Okongwu (left big toe sprain).
