Coach Dusan Sakota had to take care of the problems his team faced inside the paint since Sarikopoulos is sidelined and decided to acquire Dimitris Mavroeidis from AENK. The 30 years old center played for Kifissia last year having a great season, and this momentum went on this season since in 5 matches he counts 14,2 points, 10,2 rebounds and 1,4 assists.
Mavroeidis has also played for Panionios, Peristeri, Marousi where Mavrokefalides was his teammate and Olympiacos in 2013, winning the Euroleague title. Finally, he played for the Greek National Team during the 2011 Eurobasket.
