The Atlanta Hawks (35-40) fortified their playoff aspirations with a decisive 113-101 victory over the Chicago Bulls (36-40).

Vit Krejci stole the spotlight with a remarkable performance, setting career highs with 18 points and six 3-pointers, fueling the Hawks’ triumphant effort.

Krejci’s flawless shooting, going 6 for 6 from the field, propelled Atlanta to their fifth win in six games.

Bogdan Bogdanovic complemented Krejci’s heroics with a standout performance of his own, contributing 20 points to bolster the Hawks’ playoff push.

Dejounte Murray and Clint Capela also made significant contributions, scoring 17 points and recording a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, respectively.

Despite a spirited effort from DeMar DeRozan, who led the Bulls with 31 points, Chicago couldn’t overcome the determined Hawks.

Bogdanovic’s exceptional performance was marred by a heated exchange with coach Quin Snyder during a timeout, but both parties downplayed the incident, emphasizing their unity and focus on success.

Coby White contributed 22 points for the Bulls, while Ayo Dosunmu added 15. Andre Drummond recorded 13 points and 18 rebounds off the bench.

The victory keeps the Hawks 6.5 games ahead the 11th-placed Brooklyn Nets and close to securing a play-in berth.

Meanwhile, Chicago has already secured a spot in the Play-In Tournament.
