The Detroit Pistons have reinforced their lineup by signing forward/center Chimezie Metu to a 10-day contract, the team announced.

Metu, a seasoned NBA player with five years of experience, has showcased his skills across multiple NBA teams, including the San Antonio Spurs, Sacramento Kings, and most recently, the Phoenix Suns.

Originally drafted as the No. 49 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Metu has accumulated valuable experience over his career, appearing in 246 games, with 31 starts to his name.

Throughout his NBA journey, Metu has been averaging 5.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.4 blocks in 12.8 minutes per game.

This season Metu appeared in 37 games for the Suns, averaging 5 points and 3 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game.
