LeBron James and JJ Redick are teaming up to create an innovative podcast focusing purely on basketball, according to Andrew Merchand of The Athletic.

The new podcast, titled “Mind the Game,” is set to offer fans a candid and insightful look into the world of basketball, as explained by Redick in a recent phone interview.

The show aims to provide an organic and unfiltered conversation about the sport, free from corporate influence or advertising partnerships.

Produced by James’ Uninterrupted and Redick’s ThreeFourTwo Productions, “Mind the Game” promises to deliver engaging content straight from the minds of two basketball icons.

In a statement to The Athletic, James expressed pride in pushing the boundaries of sports media and emphasized the podcast’s focus on genuine basketball discussion.

The inaugural episode of “Mind the Game” is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, offering listeners a weekly dose of basketball insights, with episodes running 45 minutes to an hour.

The podcast will be available on YouTube and all major podcast platforms, with occasional guest appearances enhancing the depth of discussion.

Unlike traditional sports talk shows, “Mind the Game” seeks to provide a deeper analysis of basketball, moving beyond subjective debates to explore the intricacies of the game.
