Jalen Brunson erupted for 47 points to lead the New York Knicks (39-27) to a commanding 105-93 win over the Portland Trail Blazers (19-47) on Thursday night.

Contributing to the Knicks’ offensive onslaught, Donte DiVincenzo and OG Anunoby chipped in with 12 points each, as New York asserted its dominance on the court.

Brunson’s remarkable performance marked his sixth game this season with 40 or more points.

Deandre Ayton led the charge for the Blazers with an impressive double-double, tallying 31 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Knicks’ relentless attack.

Dalano Banton added 16 points, while rookie Scoot Henderson contributed 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Missing Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant, the Blazers faced an uphill battle against a determined Knicks squad hungry for victory.
