The New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby expressed satisfaction with his decision to undergo right elbow surgery, as reported by Peter Botte of the Post.

Anunoby made his return on Tuesday, playing 29 minutes and contributing 14 points and four rebounds against Philadelphia.

He remarked that his elbow feels significantly improved compared to January and expressed optimism that it will continue to progress.

“It’s a lot better than it was the month of January,” Anunoby said. “I’m happy. Should get better and better.”

Anunoby is anticipated to decline his $19.9 million contract option for next season, opting instead to become an unrestricted free agent.
