De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis combined for 64 points as the Sacramento Kings (36-26) narrowly edged past the San Antonio Spurs (13-50) with a 131-129 victory.

Sabonis had 31 points along with 17 rebounds and nine assists, extending his remarkable streak of double-doubles to 45 consecutive games.

Fox provided a scoring spark for the Kings, particularly in the fourth quarter, where he poured in 17 of his 33 points before fouling out in the closing minute.

Malik Monk provided a boost off the bench with 18 points and nine assists. Harrison Barnes added 17 points.

The Spurs faced a setback as they were without their leading scorer, Victor Wembanyama, sidelined due to a sprained right ankle.
