Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade reach an agreement with center Vladimir Stimac to work together for the remainder of the season, the club announced Tuesday. Stimac (2.11 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Movistar Estudiantes, where he averaged 11 points and 6.3 rebounds in 3 Spanish League games this season. He already played for Zvezda from 2008 to 2010, helping his team reach the Serbian League finals in 2009. Stimac has also played for FC Bayern Munich of Germany, Unicaja Malaga of Spain, Banvit Bandirma and Olin Edirne of Turkey, CEZ Basketball Nymburk of the Czech Republic, Ventspils and Valmiera of Latvia, Zalgiris Kaunas and Zalgiris-Sabonio mokykla Kaunas of Lithuania and beovuk of his native Serbia. He helped the Serbian national team win a silver medal at the 2014 FIBA World Cup, as well as respective gold medals at the 2009 World University Games, the 2007 U20 European Championships and the 2005 U18 European Championships. He has accumulated 251 points and 167 rebounds in 35 Euroleague career games.
