In a recent episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq” from Playmaker HQ, NBA Hall of Famer Allen Iverson made candid remarks about Dallas Mavericks’ star Luka Doncic.

During the podcast, Iverson expressed both admiration and bewilderment at Doncic’s unique playing style, noting the Slovenian’s ability to command the game at his own pace.

Reflecting on Doncic’s performance in a recent game against the Atlanta Hawks, where he scored an astonishing 73 points, Iverson couldn’t help but express awe at the young star’s unconventional approach to the game.

Iverson likened Doncic’s playing style to that often associated with black players.

“What the hell is wrong with Luka [Doncic]? … You can go there, but I ain’t even want to go there. I mean, that goes without saying, 73,” Iverson said.

“I’m talking about his style. It’s just kind of like mixed in with the street ball mixed. And then I don’t want nobody take this the wrong way… He moves at his own pace. But I’m not going to say that, I’ll let you say it because they probably kill me for it. He plays the way he plays… He plays like a black guy… He got swag… He’s so cool out there. Everything’s just slow, just major moves, just wet ball. He shoot the blood out of that thing. Man, Luka is…”

With impressive statistics this season, including averaging 34.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game, Doncic continues to solidify his status as one of the NBA’s brightest stars.
