The New York Knicks are formally protesting their 105-103 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday, citing an acknowledged incorrect foul call against Jalen Brunson at the end of the game.

Aaron Holiday, initially fouled by Brunson, made two out of three free throws to secure the win. The Knicks are seeking either a game restart with overtime or no penalty.

Protests in the NBA must demonstrate a “misapplication” of a rule, and only six have been upheld in league history.
