The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed of Zhaire Smith to a 10-day contract, the team announced.

The 24-year-old shooting guard, who selected as the 16th overall pick in the 2018 draft, has been playing for the Cleveland Charge in the NBA G League.

Previously he has played for the Delaware Blue Coats and briefly for the Philadelphia 76ers. This season he has been averaging 12.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 33.4 minutes per game for the Charge.

Smith has not played in an NBA game since the 2019-20 season when he appeared seven times for the Sixers.
