In another blow to the injury-plagued Los Angeles Lakers, Jarred Vanderbilt left the game against the Boston Celtics with right foot soreness after contributing 10 points, seven rebounds, and three steals in just 16 minutes.

This setback adds to the Purple and Gold’s woes, already missing LeBron James and Anthony Davis due to injuries.

Jovan Buha provided an update, stating, “X-rays were negative on Jarred Vanderbilt’s foot, per the team.”

Vanderbilt, who has faced sporadic appearances this season due to injuries, has played in 28 of the 50 regular-season games.

The 24-year-old power forward is averaging 5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 20.2 minutes per game this season.
