Philadelphia 76ers sensation Tyrese Maxey, following his dazzling career-high 51-point performance against the Utah Jazz, has earned his first NBA All-Star nod as a reserve for the Eastern Conference team.
The 23-year-old point guard, joining teammate Joel Embiid at the All-Star Game, expresses his emotions, stating, “This is crazy. Hasn’t even soaked in yet. My mom just called me screaming in my ear. Thank y’all! Appreciate y’all!”
This season, Maxey has consistently showcased his prowess, averaging 26.3 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds in 37.5 minutes per game.
