In a clash that marked Doc Rivers’ debut as head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, the Denver Nuggets (33-15) outplayed the Bucks (32-15), securing a 113-107 win led by Nikola Jokic’s triple-double and Jamal Murray’s scoring prowess.

Jokic delivered yet another masterclass, recording his 14th triple-double of the season with 25 points, 16 rebounds, and 12 assists. Meanwhile, Murray scored 35 points, guiding the Nuggets to victory.

Rivers, taking the helm as the Bucks’ head coach after Adrian Griffin’s dismissal, experienced a game of highs and lows.

Despite the Bucks’ early lead and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 29-point, 12-rebound performance, the Nuggets seized control in the late stages. Brook Lopez contributed 19 points for Milwaukee, while Damian Lillard added 18.

As both teams used a limited nine-man rotation, the game served as a measuring stick for Rivers to assess the strengths and areas for improvement within his new squad.
