In a recent episode of The Lowe Post podcast, Zach Lowe mentioned that NBA teams are expressing interest in acquiring Gordon Hayward from the Charlotte Hornets.

Hayward, who is set to make a comeback after recovering from a strained left calf, presents a challenge for potential suitors due to his expiring $31.5 million contract. Despite the difficulty in matching such a substantial salary, acquiring Hayward could offer teams some relief in future salary cap considerations.

Hayward has demonstrated productivity when he’s been in good health this season. Across 25 games, he has maintained averages of 14.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 31.9 minutes per game.

Additionally, Hayward has displayed efficient shooting, with a 47% field goal percentage, including a 36% success rate on three-pointers.
