The Portland Trail Blazers are finalizing a deal to bring wing player Taze Moore on board with a 10-day contract. The move was necessary for Portland to meet NBA roster requirements by signing a 14th player before the Sunday deadline.

Taze Moore has primarily played for the Texas Legends in the G League this season and throughout the previous season. The Trail Blazers’ G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, acquired the 6-foot-5 wing through a trade last week.

Across 21 games in the G League this season, Moore has demonstrated his skills, averaging 9.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.4 steals. Regarded as one of the top perimeter defenders in the G League, Moore brings a versatile skill set to the Trail Blazers.
