The Cleveland Cavaliers have made a strategic move to enhance their roster by signing 23-year-old power forward Pete Nance, adding depth to their frontcourt. Nance is the younger brother of New Orleans Pelicans’ Larry Nance Jr.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news on X, announcing, “The Cleveland Cavaliers are signing F/C Pete Nance on a 10-day contract, sources tell ESPN.” Notably, Nance has been making a significant impact with the Cavs’ G League affiliate, averaging an impressive 13.5 points and 7.9 rebounds.

Undrafted in 2023, Nance faced challenges in securing an NBA spot but continued to showcase his talents during the 2023 NBA Summer League with the Cavaliers.

On September 13, 2023, he inked a deal with the team but was subsequently waived on October 21. Undeterred, Nance swiftly joined the Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League one week later.
