Jamal Murray showcased his scoring prowess, pouring in a season-high 37 points, leading the Denver Nuggets (26-12) to a dominant 131-114 victory over the struggling Detroit Pistons (3-33) on Sunday night.

Murray, bouncing back from an off-shooting game, was on fire, connecting on 14 of 24 shots from the floor and sinking 6 of 7 free throws. Michael Porter Jr. and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope contributed 18 points each.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic assumed the role of playmaker, dishing out an impressive 16 assists while tying a career-high with five blocked shots. The two-time MVP scored just four points.

The Pistons, enduring a challenging season, suffered their 18th consecutive road loss. Despite efforts from Jalen Duren (20 points) and Alec Burks (18 points), Detroit couldn’t overcome Denver’s offensive onslaught.

Cade Cunningham’s early departure due to a strained left knee further hampered the Pistons’ chances.
