The New York Knicks front office is confident in their asset portfolio, believing they possess sufficient resources to trade for a “significant player” even after acquiring OG Anunoby, as reported by Ian Begley of SNY.

Currently holding up to eight tradeable first-round picks, including four of their own, the Knicks also have trade-eligible players, notably Evan Fournier with his expiring $18 million contract. However, it’s worth noting that Josh Hart and Miles McBride cannot be traded before the 2024 trade deadline.

Shams Charania adds that the Knicks maintain an ongoing interest in Karl-Anthony Towns. Still, Begley suggests that a deal may be unlikely given the Timberwolves’ success this year.
