In a Christmas Day clash, the Boston Celtics (23-6) delivered a historic performance, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers (16-15) with a score of 126-115.

Led by Kristaps Porzingis, who contributed 28 points and 11 rebounds, all five Celtics starters played a pivotal role, each scoring at least 18 points in the victory.

Jayson Tatum added 25 points, Jaylen Brown contributed 19 points, and Derrick White had 18 points and 11 assists, highlighting the balanced offensive effort.

Despite a stellar performance from Anthony Davis, who scored 40 points with 13 rebounds, and LeBron James’ 16 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists, the Lakers have struggled, losing six of their last eight games since winning the In-Season Tournament.

While the Lakers briefly took the lead in the third quarter, the Celtics responded with a seven-point streak, regaining control and ultimately securing the win.

In a moment of concern, both Jaylen Brown and LeBron James were shaken up in a collision during the second quarter. Brown briefly left the court but returned to start the third quarter.
