Donovan Mitchell sat out the game due to illness, missing the opportunity to face his former team. Despite Mitchell’s absence, Cleveland managed to overcome challenges with key players like Evan Mobley and Darius Garland sidelined.

The Cavaliers set a franchise record by making 23 3-pointers on 51 attempts, highlighting their proficiency from long range.

Max Strus contributed 18 points, including six 3-pointers, and Jarrett Allen added 17 points and eight rebounds.
